Although many people might find this subject really boring, this is the theme
of my life.
The first computer I saw was a Z80 from Sinclaire (did I wrote it properly?).
Yes, it was the period of the Z80, of the CBM Vic20, the Intellevision and the
Atari console.
But my first computer was a well known CBM 64. Nobody will argue if I say that
this computer made a piece of history in the computer science!
Since those days I always spent lots of attention to alternatives solutions
(never heard about NeXTStep), trying not to concentrate only on PeeCee. Here
it comes my beloved Amiga: this computer gave me the opportunity to get in thouch
with many new technologies (it has been on the top of the edge for several years),
to keep my mind open to newer and powerful systems without driving me into a
blind fight against WIntel products.
During the last few years I had time to understand Unix machines (I will probably never end to thanx the Linux crew for their amazing job), Macintosh and Dos/Windows/WindowsNT platforms. Since summer 1997 I also started to follow the Citrix product for which I became a Certified System Administrator.
Right now I'm working for Cores Srl, an italian system integrator where I'm busy with the Thin Client technology.
All the Amiga fans might want to have a look at the following links inside
